Local First Communities is a grassroots initiative dedicated to strengthening local businesses, community organizations, and the communities they serve.
Founded in Manchester, New Hampshire, our mission is to encourage stronger local connections by helping residents, visitors, businesses, nonprofits, and community groups discover and support one another.
Today, we continue to grow our network of local businesses, organizations, and community supporters who share our vision of stronger, more connected communities.
Founded by a New Hampshire entrepreneur with more than 35 years of business experience, Local First Communities combines a passion for community development with a commitment to helping local organizations build stronger connections and long-term success.
Local First Communities was created from a simple belief: when local businesses and organizations succeed, the entire community benefits. Strong local networks help create economic opportunity, support community causes, and improve quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
We create more business-friendly communities by increasing awareness of local products, services, events, and organizations while fostering collaboration and community engagement.
The Founder and chief Ambassador for our Local First initiative is the President of Real Solutions of New Hampshire. Over 35 years of entrepreneurship with lots of twists and turns as well as near failures and up and down experiences he has learned how to thrive and is sharing some of what he has found that works best and introducing some of best collaborators, authors and partners to help thrive in his home State of New Hampshire and hometown of Manchester.
" I believe thriving communities are built when people choose to engage locally, support local businesses, and participate in community life."
